This is the final weekend of the year for the J&S Dreamland Express train that operates in Kennewick's Columbia Park.
The train runs from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. It is a 15-minute ride through Columbia Park, starting at the Family Fishing Pond. Cost is 50 cents for children and $1 for adults.
The J&S Express is named for Washington State Patrol Trooper James Saunders, who was killed in the line of duty in 1999 in Pasco. The train is owned and operated by the Kiwanis Club of the Horse Heaven Hills.
About 15,000 people ride the train each year from May through September.
