Benton County Commission, 9 a.m., Courthouse, 620 Market St., Prosser: regular meeting set a public hearing for the six-year road program, and have updates about the juvenile detention facility needs and a new position at Washington State University Cooperative regarding fruit trees.
Kennewick Irrigation District, 9 a.m., KID offices, 12 W. Kennewick Ave.: regular meeting to hear department budget proposals and the fiscal 2013 draft budget, set Oct. 23 for a special board workshop meeting and consider actions to sell district property after considering selling prices in executive session. There also will be a separate executive session to pending litigation regarding the Acquavella water rights case, and cases involving former employees Brad Wellenbrock and Joetta Rupert; and discuss potential litigation relating to the Bretz Road LID road patch.
