PROSSER -- A two-month-long investigation led to the arrest of a 34-year-old Prosser man Thursday on suspicion of delivering methamphetamine inside a school zone.
Glen Murataya was arrested on suspicion of three counts of delivery of methamphetamine and on a Department of Corrections parole violation. He was booked into the Benton County jail.
The alleged sale of narcotics occurred within 1,000 feet of a school, so any criminal charge will include a school zone enhancement.
The arrest occurred after the Benton County Sheriff's Office Gang Unit executed a search warrant about 5:45 a.m. Thursday at 1827 Benson Ave., in Prosser.
The Benton County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Prosser Police Department and Washington State Department of Corrections.
