West Richland police are conducting an investigation into the death of a 38-year-old man found Sunday in his apartment.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday on Travis Alan Thompson, said Benton County Deputy Coroner Roy McLean.
A drug overdose may be involved, but the cause and manner of death is still undetermined, McLean said.
Thompson was found dead by a family member had apparently gone to the apartment at 4335 Fallon Drive on Sunday afternoon.
Thompson's wife was also found on the floor unconscious at the time by the family member who had to break a window to get inside, said West Richland police Capt. Al Escalera.
The woman, whose name was not released, was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland and is expected to survive.
