The statewide Master Gardener conference is Sept. 13-15 at TRAC in Pasco.
The conference, which usually is open only to Master Gardeners, will be open to the public.
Twenty-nine classes will be presented, including grafting vegetables, growing grapes, Columbia Basin ecology and flora, drip irrigation and backyard tree fruits.
In addition to classes, there will be a display of new annuals and perennials, a presentation on improving relationships and businesses with keynote speaker Sue Kirby and a presentation of John Clement's Seasons of the Northwest Drylands photography series.
Cost for the full conference is $175. A variety of conference packages are available.
