Employee benefits will be the topic of the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce's upcoming August Business Development University 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 23 at Kennewick's Tri-Cities Business and Visitor Center in the Bechtel Board Room.
"Employee Benefit Options: Charting Your Company Strategy for 2013," will cover healthcare, investments and retirement plans, whether a business has one employee or hundreds. Attendees also will learn how to avoid costly mistakes when extending benefits.
Ron Burt of Ronald L. Burt Tax and Accounting, Marv Liebe of Liebe-Thompson Financial Planners and Phil Lynch of Advisor Benefits Group are the speakers at the class sponsored by Bank Reale.
Ways to enhance a bottom line by maximizing tax benefits will be included in the discussion.
