A fire damaged sheds and the side of a house in Pasco around 7:25 a.m. Saturday.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames before it reached the occupied portion of the house near West Park Street and 24th Avenue, said Pasco fire Capt. Dave Hare.
Sheds and camp trailers caught fire on two neighboring properties, he said. One shed was burned to the ground and a couple of others now look like skeletons.
A fourth shed was moderately damaged.
One camp trailer was severely damaged and two others were moderately damaged, Hare said. The siding of one of the houses was damaged.
Residents of both houses were at home during the time of the fire, Hare said. No one was injured.
Franklin Fire District 3, Walla Walla Fire District 5, Benton Fire District 1 and the Kennewick and Richland fire departments assisted Pasco Fire with the response. A total of 40 firefighters assisted.
The cause is under investigation, Hare said.
