A Burbank couple remain hospitalized Thursday after being seriously injured Monday morning when a semi-truck failed to stop at a red light on Highway 397 in Pasco and slammed into their small car.
Lorraine M. Johnson, 60, was headed west on A Street at 10:32 a.m. when her 2007 Nissan Versa was hit at the intersection with 397, also called Oregon Avenue.
The Washington State Patrol said Logan S. Strawderman, 24, of Hays, Kan., was driving the 2013 Kenworth semi-truck. He was not hurt.
Lorraine Johnson was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland where she remains in serious condition.
Her passenger, Donald R. Johnson, 73, was taken to Kennewick General Hospital and later transferred to Kadlec where he remains in critical condition.
