Nobody was hurt Monday afternoon when one semi truck rear-ended another in Prosser, the Washington State Patrol reported.
The crash happened at 3:35 p.m. at the intersection of Highways 22 and 221.
Sean McGrath, 40, of Yakima, was behind a semi truck that was northbound on Highway 221 when it slowed for the intersection, troopers said. McGrath was following too closely when he hit the other truck, driven by Jason Dykes, 43, of Moxee, according to a patrol news release.
McGrath’s rig had to be towed away. Dykes’ truck had minor damage and was driven from the scene.

McGrath was given a ticket for following too closely. Intoxicants were not suspected, authorities said. Both men were wearing seat belts.
