Pasco's Walmart on North Road 68 will undergo a $500,000 remodeling project this month, but store operations won't be affected, the project manager said.
"We do 98 percent of our work at night," said Bill Sharp, project manager of Sletten Construction Company's office in Boise, Idaho.
Sharp told the Herald that work on the Pasco store should finish July 27.
The company will update the store's paint scheme and add refrigerated cases for alcoholic beverages, he said.

They also will refurbish the courtesy desk, restrooms, entryways and the pharmacy and vision center, according to a permit request filed February with the city of Pasco.
