A Pasco man who drove his car off the road, overcorrected and then rolled it has been cited by the Washington State Patrol.
Byron R. Elliott, 33, of Pasco, was driving Wednesday at 6:30 a.m. west on Interstate 90, about 15 miles west of Moses Lake, the State Patrol reported.
Elliott's 2007 Chevrolet pickup went off the road to the left, overcorrected, left the road to the right, rolled and came to a rest on the right shoulder. The cause of the crash was inattention, the state patrol said.
Ronald E. Ott, 64, of Kennewick, was a passenger in the pickup. Elliott was not injured. Ott was taken to Samaritan Hospital. Both men were wearing seat belts, the state patrol reported.
