WALLA WALLA -- Walla Walla County Prosecuting Attorney Jim Nagle asked the county's sheriff's office to continue an investigation into the death of Cesar Chavira, 22, who was shot May 4 after he allegedly broke into the New York Store.
According to Nagle, the sheriff's office filed a partial report on the shooting Friday.
"I have seen part of a report and requested they continue the investigation," Nagle said. "What I have reviewed so far has expressed no conclusion or recommendation."
On Monday, demonstrators marched in Walla Walla to call for prosecution of John Saul, the owner of the New York Store, who shot Chavira.
