The Tri-Cities was under a freeze warning from Thursday night to early this morning.
Temperatures were expected to drop as low as 31 degrees in the Tri-Cities, according to the National Weather Service. Some sensitive vegetation could have been damaged.
The predicted cold temperatures were the result of clear skies and light winds.
Today should be sunny with highs in the low 70s in the Tri-Cities.
Temperatures should continue to warm through the weekend and could reach 90 degrees Monday, according to the weather service.
