BENTON CITY -- Action Towing of Kennewick, Ed's Disposal and Benton City are holding a spring cleanup day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Ed's Disposal and Benton City employees will be accepting residential garbage for free from city residents, and Action Auto Services will make offers on junk vehicles at the city transfer station on Dinah Lane off Seventh Street. The automobile title is required to sell the vehicle.
If the vehicle can not be brought to the transfer station, call Action Towing at 531-6691 to have it towed free of charge.
Residential garbage must be bagged or boxed, and lumber and branches should be 4 feet or less. Trees, branches and shrubs should be separated from other garbage.
City residents need to bring a driver's license and city utility bill to show proof of residency. County residents will be charged normal rates.
