People wanting to help out the family of Kennewick girl with a brain tumor may donate to a special account at Gesa Credit Union or provide airplane travel miles.
Kris Call, a neighbor and co-worker of Cynthia Pocasangre, mother of 6-year-old Emilia Pocasangre, set up the account with the family last week. Emilia is diagnosed with a tumor known as a pilocytic astrocytoma and the family is looking at treatment options across the country.
Donations can be made at the Gesa Credit Union branch on Huntington Street in Kennewick.
Call also is coordinating donations of Delta SkyMiles to help the family reduce airfare when the family travels for radiation therapy. For more information, call 509-586-1299.
