Amber Eubanks and Nathaniel McCann are the newly elected president and vice president of the Associated Students of Washington State University Tri-Cities for 2012-13.
Each ran unopposed and collected 98 percent of the vote, according to a news release from the Richland campus. Only 10 percent of the 1,500 students on campus cast ballots.
Eubanks, a Kennewick senior majoring in biology, ran as an incumbent. McCann, a junior from Yakima, is serving as Senate speaker pro-tempore.
Eight other students were elected as senators-at-large: Calvin Anderson, Thomas Batey, Isaac Carroll, Jessica Delatorre, Courtnee Grego, Francisco "Javier" Soto, Daniel Tompkins and Maximilian VonderMehden.
