Local mayors and health officials will have a public roundtable discussion tonight in north Richland.
The Benton-Franklin Community Health Alliance is sponsoring a "What's Health Got To Do With It?" talk featuring area elected officials and physicians who will talk about policies and social factors that influence community health.
Topics include zoning, parks, safety, public transportation and crime. Attendees can submit written questions at the event and participate in a survey measuring community health in the two counties.
The free, two-hour event starts at 7 p.m. in the Consolidated Information Center at Washington State University Tri-Cities, 2770 Crimson Way, Richland.
