PENDLETON -- Oregon State Police troopers are investigating a Monday morning multi-vehicle crash in the icy westbound lanes of Interstate 84 about 10 miles east of Pendleton near Deadman Pass.
The 7 a.m. crash involved six passenger vehicles and six commercial trucks. The westbound lanes were blocked until about noon, OSP reported.
Three passenger vehicles were totaled, and three others were driven from the scene. Three commercial vehicles were towed, and three others were driven from the scene.
There were reports of minor injuries, but none required a trip to a hospital for treatment, according to OSP.

Roadway conditions were described as black ice with a light dusting of snow. Heavy fog reduced visibility to less than 100 feet, OSP reported.
OSP troopers from the Pendleton Area Command office responded to investigate.
