KENNEWICK -- A 25-year-old Kennewick man accused of raping and beating a woman for four days is being held without bail in the Benton County jail.
William Asbury Eller was arrested by Kennewick police and booked into the Benton County jail early Friday on suspicion of second-degree rape, second-degree assault and tampering with a witness.
Benton County District Court documents claim the victim went to Eller's South Yost Street and was beaten by him Feb. 2-6.
Kennewick police were called after the victim was treated for significant injuries, documents said. She told officers that Eller had sex with her without her consent and sexually assaulted her while beating her, documents said.
The victim attends an alternative school and is said to have the emotional capacity of a 7 or 8 year old, documents said. She also reportedly suffers from multiple mental health issues and has limited cognitive functions.
Eller also is accused of sending text messages to the victim to try to convince her that the activities were consensual and to dissuade her from reporting it to police, documents said.
Richland man held in robbery
A Richland man was arrested after apparently driving another man to meeting where a "drug rip" was planned, documents said.
Spencer Michael Fisher, 20, was tracked down by Richland police after the victim provided officers with the license plate number of a red Ford Mustang, documents said.
Officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday after the victim reported he had just been robbed behind 1601 George Washington Way.
The victim said an unidentified man ran up to him with a knife and robbed him of his iPhone, $20 and a skateboard, documents said.
The license plate number led police officers to Fisher, who allegedly admitted driving to the area where the robbery took place.
Fisher also reportedly told officers he knew the other suspect was meeting the victim to "do a drug rip," documents said. After getting out of the car, the man walked toward the victim and returned a short time later with a skateboard and iPhone, documents said.
Once in the car, the man talked about how he robbed the victim at knife-point, Fisher told officers. Fisher then drove away, documents said.
Fisher was booked into the Benton County jail and is being held for investigation of conspiracy to commit armed robbery and first-degree robbery.
The other suspect's name was not released because he was not in custody Friday.

Kennewick police arrested a 59-year-old man Thursday for allegedly trying to force himself on a woman.
Alfred Brenton Corby of Kennewick was booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of indecent liberties-using force and felony harassment.
Officers were called around 7 p.m. Thursday to the 200 block of East Columbia Drive after the victim reported Corby tried to force her to give him oral sex, documents said.
Scratches were visible on the victim.
Corby also allegedly threatened to "slit her throat" if she told anyone, document said. He is being held without bail.
