Four people, including two Oregon State Police officers, were injured Thursday afternoon in a two-car crash on Highway 207 south of Hermiston, the Oregon State Police reported.
Sgt. Seth Cooney and trooper Marshall Mayer were traveling southbound in a 2006 Dodge Charger patrol vehicle when a 1990 Ford Taurus, driven by Raul Rojas-Rivas, 44, pulled out in front of the patrol car.
Rojas-Rivas, from Boardman, and his passenger Amalia Rivas-Flores, 78, also from Boardman, were transported by ambulance to Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston.
Cooney, 42, is a 13-year veteran of the OSP, and Mayer, 30, is a seven-year veteran of the department's fish and wildlife division at the Heppner work site.
Both officers were also taken by ambulance to the medical center. All injuries were reportedly minor, the OSP reported.
