Fire investigators were not able to determine the cause of the Sunday night fire that displaced a family of eight.
Pasco Fire Chief Bob Gear said the fire doesn't appear suspicious and may have started in the wall, but an exact cause is still pending. The fire at 1011 W. Park St. was reported at 5:50 p.m.
It appears to have started in an attic area that was converted to a bedroom, officials said. No one was home at the time. Red Cross is helping the four adults and four children who lived in the house.
