KENNEWICK -- Die-hard bargain hunters began lining up at midnight Tuesday outside Best Buy in Kennewick with their eye on a Black Friday TV special.
The store is advertising nationwide a 42-inch Sharp HDTV for $200 and guaranteeing that each outlet will have at least 10 of them.
That was enough incentive to drive shoppers all over the country to start camping outside stores trying to be first in line when doors open at midnight tonight.
And while Tri-City shoppers were lucky to have unseasonably warm temperatures, they have had to brave blustery winds.
Kennewick store manager Mitch Davis said they are expecting the biggest crowd ever.
"Staying up 'til midnight seems to fit better into shoppers' lives than getting up really early," he said.
