Drivers going to Pasco or Kennewick today may want to plan another route and avoid using the blue bridge.
The bridge will be down to just one lane of travel in both directions from 9 a.m. to p.m. for maintenance, said officials with the Washington Department of Transportation.
Electricians will be replacing lamps in the overhead lights on the bridge.
The single-lane closures will go from just past Yelm Street in Kennewick to Court Street in Pasco.
From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., the northbound right lane of Highway 395 and the Columbia Drive on-ramp to the highway will be closed.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the southbound right lane and the Lewis Street on-ramp to southbound Highway 395 will be closed.
Motorists should expect delays as they travel through the work zone, officials said.
