An Oregon man was killed and six Toppenish residents were injured in a crash near Toppenish on Saturday night, the Washington State Patrol said.
Luis Bravo Lopez, 50, of Woodburn, Ore., died Sunday at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, troopers said.
Bravo Lopez was a passenger in a 1997 Mazda 626 driven by Jeronimo Mendez Gomez, 23, of Toppenish, that hit another vehicle head-on in the intersection of North Meyers Road and Fraley Road after crossing the center line, trooper said.
Arias Lopez, 26, and Santiago Gomez Sanchez, 29, both of Toppenish, also were passengers in Gomez' car.
Also injured were Andrew Walle, 23, of Toppenish,
who was driving the second car -- a 2004 Audi A4 -- and his passengers Angelica Cisneros, 22, and Julyssa Walle, 3, both of Toppenish.
Everyone except Bravo Lopez was taken to Yakima Memorial Hospital, troopers said. No information was available about their conditions Sunday.
Troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.
