Incumbent Katherine Davidson appeared headed for another term on the Kennewick Public Hospital District Board, preliminary results Tuesday showed.
Davidson led challenger William "Bill" Alsdurf with 9,488 votes, or 73 percent, to Alsdurf's 3,527 votes, or 27 percent.
Davidson, 47, was elected to the board in 2008, defeating then-incumbent Dr. Rod Coler. She has a background in finance and public accounting, and is chairwoman of the board's finance committee.
Alsdurf, 71, is the former CEO and chief financial officer for Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston.
