A "Signing Stars" sign language class for children ages 3 to 5 runs Wednesdays starting this week and through Nov. 30 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Highlands Grange Building, 1500 S. Union St., Kennewick.
The class will teach American Sign Language through stories, poems, games, activities and crafts. Each child will receive his or her own flashcard set and certificate of achievement.
Cost is $46 for Kennewick residents and $49 for nonresidents.
A second set of classes will run from Dec. 7-27. All classes will be at 1500 S. Union St. in Kennewick.
