A household hazardous waste collection day is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
All Benton County residents may bring residential household hazardous waste products to the Benton County Road Department Building, 1709 S. Ely St., in Kennewick. There is no charge for the service.
Materials that will be accepted include chemical products such as pesticides, herbicides, paints, cleaners, solvents, batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, motor oil, gas and anti-freeze.
Not acceptable are general trash, tires, appliances, electronics, explosives, radioactive materials, ammunition, asbestos or biohazards.
A driver's license or other proof of residency in Benton County will be required.
