The Pasco Farmer's Market is now accepting electronic benefit transfer cards.
To use an EBT card, visit the market manager to scan your card before making purchases. Card users will receive wooden tokens for the amount taken from the card. The tokens are worth $1 each.
Tokens cannot be used to purchase hot foods, ready-to-eat food or beverages, or non-food items. Vendors are not allowed to give change in cash.
To contact market manager Mike Sommerville, call 531-7274.
The market is open from 8 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. The last day of the season is Oct. 29; next season will begin the first week of May.
