Two classes remain in the Food for Life class series on "How Foods Fight Cancer."
Participants will learn about the right food choices that can help reduce the risk of developing cancer as well as to overcome the disease after it has been diagnosed.
Nurse Nancy Lyons, a certified Food for Life instructor who has additional education in plant-based nutrition and the prevention of chronic disease, will teach the classes.
The curriculum was developed by physicians and registered dieticians from the national nonprofit, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.

The next class is at 6 p.m. Wednesday and 6 p.m. Oct. 19 at Saladmaster Kitchen, 3311 W. Clearwater, Suite B110 in Kennewick.
