WALLULA -- A wildfire burning south of Wallula kept fire crews busy Tuesday, but officials hope to have the blaze fully contained soon.
Officials were able to get a better look at the Vansycle Canyon Fire and updated the estimated acres burned to just 4,300, said spokesman Tom Reilly.
It was previously was estimated to have burned about 10,000 acres.
By late afternoon Tuesday, officials estimated the wildfire was about 70 percent contained. If the weather cooperates, Reilly said they hope to have it fully contained by Thursday.
