National Day of the Cowboy will be celebrated from noon to 7 p.m. today at Sagebrush Old West store, 10 N. Cascade St. in downtown Kennewick.
Featured performers include cowboy poet Duane Nelson from The Dalles, singer-songwriter Coyote Joe Sartin from Pendleton, cowboy poet Jessica Hedges from Burns, Ore., and singer-songwriter Cale Moon from Benton City.
Hedges, Moon and Sartin are past winners of the People's Choice Award at the Columbia River Cowboy Festivals, held each year in Kennewick.
The main stage at Sagebrush Old West will have an open-mic session from noon to 5 p.m. All ages are welcome to perform.
