This week will see some changes in the Herald's Life section line-up as we launch a new Outdoors section Thursdays, replacing the Saturday Outdoors page that has run in the Sports section.
The change means that the Health & Fitness section will move to Tuesdays, replacing the Family & Friends section.
The popular KidZone page will continue to run Tuesdays on the back of the Health & Fitness section, and the Male Call advice column will move to the Sunday Extra section.
With the change, we plan to expand our Outdoors coverage to include a wider variety of activities. In addition, running the section ahead of the weekend will give readers more time to consider how they want to enjoy the Mid-Columbia's abundant outdoors activities.
Never miss a local story.
As a result, the Herald has new deadlines for news items submitted for the weekly health section. Health news must be submitted by email to health reporter Michelle Dupler at email@example.com or fax to 582-1510 by 5 p.m. each Wednesday to appear in the following Tuesday's section.
The deadline for Outdoor page news items is Mondays. Send information to sports@ tricityherald.com or fax to 582-1510.
