The Franklin County Treasurer's Office is delaying when interest will be applied for property taxes due in April.
Interest for the first half of 2011 property taxes, due Saturday, will not be applied until after May 2 because the deadline falls on the weekend.
Interest for the month of April on delinquent property taxes also will not be applied until after Monday.
Benton County also is considering Monday the due date for property tax payments over the counter, online and postmarked, said Duane Davidson, Benton County treasurer.
