The Franklin County Saddle Club is holding its 37th annual Springtime Open Horse Show on Saturday and Sunday.
This is an open breed show with a lot of Western and English classes, including some for miniature horses. There also will be a demonstration of the unique smooth gaits of Peruvian and Paso Fino horses at 12:45 p.m. both days.
The show begins each day at 8 a.m. There's a one-hour break at noon, and then it runs from 1 p.m. to about 5 p.m. There is no charge to watch.
