An autopsy is planned today on a Pasco man who died from apparent injuries suffered when he fell out of a car during a police chase, said Franklin County Coroner Dan Blasdel.
Lupe Silva, 27, died Wednesday at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. He had lived in Pasco for 24 years and was an agricultural laborer.
Silva reportedly was in a car being chased by U.S. Marshals, who were trying to make a warrant arrest in Pasco, Blasdel said.
At some point during the chase, Silva fell or was pushed from the car, he said.
No other details about the warrant arrest were available.
Silva died in Benton County, but Blasdel's office is handling the death investigation because the chase was in Franklin County.
