PASCO -- A 27-year-old man who died days after falling out of a car in a police chase suffered a skull fracture and internal bleeding from hitting his head, the coroner said Saturday after conducting an autopsy.
Lupe Silva was in Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland for three days and never came out of a coma, according to Franklin County Coroner Dan Blasdel.
Silva died Wednesday. He lived in Pasco for 24 years and was an agricultural laborer.
Silva reportedly was in a car being chased by U.S. Marshals, who were trying to make a warrant arrest in Pasco. At some point during the chase, Silva fell or was pushed from the car, Blasdel said. No other details are available about the incident.
The death was labeled accidental.
