BURBANK -- A 46-year-old Pasco man stopped in his car for road construction Friday night on the Snake River bridge was injured when a semi-truck slammed into him.
Stevie V. Sparks was taken to Kennewick General Hospital for treatment after the 8:33 p.m. crash on Highway 12, according to a Washington State Patrol report.
Donald R. Dickey, the driver of the 2010 Mack tractor trailer, was not injured. The 51-year-old man is from Goodman, Mo.
State Patrol troopers reported that Sparks was stopped in his 1997 Dodge Intrepid for construction. That's when Dickey's truck hit him from behind.
Troopers are investigating. The report showed alcohol or drugs might be involved.
