The Kennewick Police Department's monthly sex offender meeting will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the police station.
The meeting is offered to inform residents about registered sex offenders, where they live and how residents can protect their families.
Residents also can learn how to be notified when sex offenders move into their neighborhoods.
A representative from the Sexual Assault Response Center will be available to talk about services it offers and how to talk to children about being safe.
Meetings are the second Wednesday of each month at 211 W. Sixth Ave. For more details, call Officer Allan Knox at 582-1352.
