The Volunteer Center has named Tracy Kossow of Kennewick volunteer of the year for supporting the local retired and senior service program.
Registered RSVP volunteers with the most service hours recorded honored were Teresa Sparks, Luvena Maulden, Carol Schreck, Marjorie Einspahr and Jeanne Davis. Nonprofits with the most hours recorded were Kennewick General Hospital, Kadlec Medical Center, Kennewick Police Department, Meals of Wheals and CREHST museum.
Certificates of appreciation were given to Hank and Harriet Cummings and Velma Jarrett and State Sen. Jerome Delvin. Jeanette Fields and Holli Calder Cox were recognized for leadership in the center's drive to collect school supplies and for Project Warm Up.
