Residents of the Tri-City area still can have a say in future land use at the Hanford nuclear reservation through an online survey.
The Tri-City Development Council held a series of workshops last week to learn more about the communities' wishes for Hanford land as it becomes available. The Department of Energy plans to have most environmental cleanup completed outside outside 75 acres at the center of Hanford by 2015.
The information will be used to draft a community vision to share with the Department of Energy when it holds a community forum, likely in early December.
The survey is at tridec.org under "Hanford Land Use."
