MOSES LAKE -- A Moses Lake woman was injured when her vehicle was hit in an intersection by a car that went through a red light, the Washington State Patrol said.
Elda B. Hall, 77, was in a 2004 Chrysler driven by her husband, William, 77, that was southbound on Highway 17 just before 8 p.m. Saturday when it was hit in the intersection with Broadway Street by a 2002 Ford Explorer, the state patrol reported.
She was taken to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake for treatment of neck and back pain, the state patrol said.
The driver of the second vehicle, Diane L. Banks, 62, of Elk, and a passenger were uninjured, authorities said. The state patrol said Banks failed to yield, and that alcohol was believed to have contributed to the accident.
