BENTON CITY -- A 23-year-old woman was seriously injured Saturday evening in a one-car rollover on Interstate 82 outside of Benton City.
Noelle Atwood of Yakima was treated at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland after the 5:47 p.m. crash, then later was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for further treatment. Her condition is not known.
Atwood was traveling east on the highway when her 2003 Nissan Altima left the roadway and rolled through the median, the Washington State Patrol reported.
The blue Nissan came to a stop in the westbound lanes, about 11/2 miles west of the Kiona/Benton City exit, the state patrol said.

Initial police reports said the car may have rolled five times. No one else was in the car at the time of the crash.
Atwood was wearing a seat belt. Passing motorists said firefighters used the Jaws of Life to open the car.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
