Two people were hurt in two rollovers 14 miles apart on Highway 395.
The first happened at 8:30 p.m. Sunday when Robert L. Hall, 32, California, apparently let his attention drift as he headed north in a Dodge Caliber, the Washington State Patrol said.
Hall didn’t notice a slower moving semi truck and tractor until he needed to swerve to miss it.
After avoiding the semi, he overcorrected, flipping his car near Sagemoor Road. He was treated at Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco.
Never miss a local story.
WSP troopers cited Hall for improper lane travel.
The second wreck was at 4:04 a.m. Monday when Jose Negrete, 20, of Connell, lost control of his northbound Crown Victoria near the exit for Highway 17, the Washington State Patrol said.
He also overcorrected and rolled.
His passenger, Savannah L. Lee, 19, of Connell, was taken to Othello Community Hospital.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said a dog in the car was fine.
Negrete was cited with second-degree negligent driving, said WSP.
