Expert birders will be on hand to help identify birds by sight and song at a walk on Bateman Island on Saturday.
Birds that could be spotted on the island include eagles, owls, water birds and warblers.
The walk is organized by the Lower Columbia Basin Audubon Society.
To go, meet at 8 a.m. at the Wye Park parking lot on Columbia Park Trail in Richland and bring binoculars.
Participants can walk for two to three hours or head back early.
