A chemistry program for youth is scheduled for Nov. 5 and 12 at the Columbia Basin College Pasco campus.
The program is open to boys and girls older than 13. Chemists from local laboratories will conduct the training.
Using the Boy Scout Chemistry Merit Badge requirements as a syllabus, the program is also open to Boy Scouts wanting to earn their Chemistry Merit Badge and Girl Scouts wanting to receive an activity patch.
There is a $10 material fee Nov. 5, and attendance both days is required for training completion.
