A presentation on tai chi and qigong is planned from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 13 as part of the Tri-Cities Cancer Center's pain series.
"Although these practices do not necessarily have a direct impact on fighting cancer, they can have a supportive role in increasing ease of movement, pain relief and enhancing relaxation," said a news release.
W. Kraig Stephens, who teaches traditional Chinese martial arts, will give the presentation.
It will include a demonstration and some select qigong exercises.
People are asked to RSVP by Aug. 12 to 509-737-3427 or go through www.tccancer.org through the events calendar page.
The cancer center is at 7350 W. Deschutes Ave.
