Life Care Center of Richland has been listed as a five-star nursing facility under the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services rating system.
The rating system is aimed at helping the public assess care facilities, with ratings based on health inspection results, staffing and quality measures, a news release said.
Daisha Cruz, executive director of the Richland center, said the five-star rating “allows us the opportunity to reflect on the growth we have made in our customer service, quality of patient care and putting together an exceptional team. It is the residents’ needs and desires that drives us to be such a strong family here in Richland.”
The center on Goethals Drive is one of 17 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in the state that’s managed or operated by Life Care Centers of America, the release said.
