Dr. Stanlee S. Lu has joined Kennewick General Hospital’s medical oncology team and will work with Drs. Stephen Iacoboni and Jose Ness at the KGH hematology/oncology practice at 216 W. 10th St., Suite 300, Kennewick, a news release said. He’s accepting patients.
Lu recently served as chief fellow in hematology and oncology at Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center, and remains a fellow there, the release said.
He also has worked as medical health officer for the Barili District Hospital in the Philippines and in private practice, the release said. Lu graduated from the Cebu Institute of Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency at the New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center University Hospital in New York, the release said.
He’s an associate member of the American Society of Oncology, the American Society of Hematology and the American College of Physicians, the release said.
It said that he is, “board eligible to be certified in oncology and hematology and will complete examinations in November.”
