A program that provides grants worth up to $2,000 to Tri-City small businesses is again seeking applications.
The Small Business Incentive Program, operated by the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Washington River Protection Solutions, will award $30,000 this year, a release said.
The program is in its fifth year and has distributed $120,000 to businesses who have used the money to purchase software, set up websites, participate in training and pursued other ways to enhance their operations.
Eligible businesses must be established and members of the regional chamber. Non-chamber member businesses that have been operating for at least 18 months may still qualify upon joining the chamber before the deadline of July 10.
