Washington’s Lottery has announced its annual list of “Luckiest Stores” – retail locations that sold the most winning tickets worth $1,000 or more in the previous year.
Lottery officials released the list for six regions around the state, including Tri-Cities, Puget Sound, Olympic Peninsula, Eastern Washington, Southwest Washington, and Central Washington.
With nine big wins in 2014, the Albertsons at 1320 Lee Blvd. in Richland is the “Luckiest Store” in the Tri-City area with nine big wins. “We are very proud to offer our customers such a unique and exciting experience,” said Jamie Ledanger, store manager. “For a lot of customers, this is their store – the one stop shop where they can do everything, and we’re thrilled to be their ‘lucky store.’”

• Eight big wins: Safeway, 1803 George Washington Way in Richland and Yoke’s Fresh Market, 1410 W. 27th Ave., Kennewick.
• Six big wins: Fred Meyer, 2811 W. 10th Ave., Kennewick.
• Four big wins: Kennewick Avenue Chevron, 2610 W. Kennewick Ave.; Circle K, 2601 Queensgate Drive, Richland; Albertsons, 5204 W. Clearwater Ave., Kennewick; and Winco Foods, 4602 W. Clearwater Ave., Kennewick.
• Three big wins: Rocket Mart, 2111 Van Giesen St. in Richland and 7-Eleven, 415 Wright Ave. in Richland.
